Hi. I would like to review the clinical photographs of the patient along with the full-length standing X-rays of both lower limbs before commenting on the problem. The limb length discrepancy may represent either a true shortening of the affected limb or an apparent shortening due to factors such as pelvic tilt, joint contractures, or deformity. In addition, spinal malalignment can contribute to an apparent leg length difference. A proper clinical examination and assessment of the full-length radiographs will help determine the exact cause and guide further management.
